I cried too
I can relate to the difficulty of finding a job though when you have no address or phone. I have had two points in my life where I was homeless. It is very hard to get a job with no phone # or address to list. You pretty much have to make something up for the address and keep checking back in person.
The common stereotype that homeless people are all smelly bums and alcoholics can't be further from the truth. Everyone has a story and once your down it is really hard to get back up.

This movie was OK- i was really excited about it but I was very disappointed. It wasn't very original, and it ended almost immediately, I felt completely unsatisfied at the end of the film. I mean, ya' nothing happens, I can deal with that in films, but god dude, what the fuck was this. It felt like a short film- if this was about 15 minutes long, I would have loved it; but making a little over an hour of this just doesn't make sense.. It wasn't good- huge let down, very short and pointless.

It's on instant view so I'm gonna check it out tonight. I remember that quote from the trailer. It really says a lot about social stratification.

I have been wanting to see this movie since I first heard about it last year but was unable to see it cause I have only one theatre near me that screens independents and this never came to that theatre. So now I'll definitely have to check it out on DVD after seeing your review. I will have to check out Old Joy as well since its another Kelly R. film.

Thanks for doing this review and getting the word out. There needs to be an audience for filmmaking like this. Excellent.
Can't wait to see it. I liked Old Joy. Looking forward to seeing Will Oldham again.
