Filmed and recorded in 1993 during a concert tour in South Africa at a time of great political changes. Upon invitation and organised by Cathy & Darius Brubeck (then lecturing at the Music department of the KZN University in Durban) Airto. Flora Purim, daughter Diana, Jose Neto and Gary Meek embarked on their first journey to Africa. Airto was surprised to see so many fans in a country we believed to have little access to his work but people would practically storm the venues and came round too have their vinyl LP's signed. 15 years later and i still get rave comments about the performances. Thanx man.. that's a very nice reply!!! Actually i was there.. guess it was 1996 .. it was amazing... well you are a record-label right??? I live in Holland and I know the tapes are under copyright of the NPS(the broadcasters).. strange thing is ( Nasa like hahaha) the NPS does not verify the existence of the actual tapes.. !!! i will try to get a copy... sooner or later..

the owner of the tapes is the North sea Jazz Festival and not NPS, howver NPS broadcasted the gig so there must be copies. yes i am the label man who discovered Moses in 1993 whilst touring with Fourth World (see the above video) and it was in the afternoon of this Fourth World that i saw Moses for the first time.

Why is it that the great Lasego is poosible to upload Moses Taiwa's songs.. the best... like Ahe and nice Jams.. and is Moses his label not in progress recovering the Ahe and kind like recordings.. while thousands of fans are waiting??.. ps thanx for this vid...

i would like to put up more if i was allowed to. the best concert was in The Hague but those tapes are expensive to buy - i hope to make enough money from paying (not pirating) buyers to be able to buy those tapes. Moses was very close to my heart and the moe anybody can do to keep his memory the happier we all are. I aplaude Lasego for his work. yours Robert Trunz

Thanks gentlemen! I recorded these Molelekwa's vids when they were broadcasted on SABC a few years ago. I am also looking forward to seeing more rare recordings of Taiwa. Robert we cant thank you enough for the contribution you are making to SA music! God bless!
