@soadas how does it feel to get a reply to a comment you made 4 years ago, he went somewhere with it, he is now the director of hollywood movies, making scary movies as one would expect...thats life. youtube was waay different back then was't it. i wish some one would do something like this for me.

I actually liked it for the amount of time you put into it. Its simple and old fashion, good for getting to the roots of film making. Just for a chuckle, check out my short. Its my first and its rather cheesy, but entertaining

That's right lets use one of the most cliched things in a horror film to end this. What a disappointment. This video also didn't make any sense If anyone can tell me what are some quality short creepy films to watch, I would be highly thankful. I'm just tired of seeing videos like this.

@prototyper89 Nice.

its scary and quite good,but the ending doesnt have anythng to surprise me to be honest, and it closes the film very badly imho
-
my shoe cupboard is more scarier than this

kept my tense most of the durartions. very good for first time. Wasn't perfect, other comments cover that, but great nontheless :) x and better than those boring 'horror short films' were these so called proffesionals shove a load of wierd random boring crap into the mixture and everyone thinks it's fresh and unique and scary :|
The man character's head was cut off from the frame, initially, which was unnecessary. Only cut the head when the character has an identity to hide.
Some of his actions were unrealistic. WHY open the fridge just to sniff the milk? WHY only take out a few clothes from the dryer?
It sounds nitpicky, but because of the length of short films, things have to be more precise and believable.
You also had over-used elements to instill fear (flickering lights, tv).
Keep trying, it's really not so bad.

thanks, this was for a class a while ago and we were suppose to be working on it for 2 months and we did it the weekend before it was due.
so that may explain a little about why all the fillers... their no real planning or any story just pure winging it.

nah i was trying to use some effects lighting like they use all the time in movies but i just wasn't all that good at it. in hindsight i shouldve just left it alone... its like first learning photoshop - you wanna overuse all the cheesy filters in the wrong ways. :P

i like the shot from 1:31-48. the lamp adds a classic 50's sci fi look. like something out of the day the earth stood still or plan 9 from outer space.
