A real outstanding Rockabilly number by Bruce Channel. I read that the backing band are the one from Ronnie Dawson. You can hear the resemblance to Ronnies "Do Do Do" and "Jump And Run". I think the man behind this connection was Marvin "Smokey" Montgomery (who was a member of the Light Crust Doughboys), who co-wrote some of Ronnies songs and accomponied Bruce on some of his recordings around the 50s / 60s in Texas. They where all regulars at the Big-D jamboree. It was released on the Fort Worth label LeCam before Smash re-released it in 1962.
