Demo mode is easy to activate. Turn off the lamp via the remote, and then press and hold the remote on button for around 5 seconds. The lamp lights and then cycles through the colours slowly until you turn it off via the remote. Least mine does. Bought mine mid 2008.

pleaseeee!!does anybody know how i can make it change colours by itself(demo mode)??i achieved this once accidentaly but i don't know how i did it!! :S thanks 4 the help! :D

but mine does not go into demomode, even holding the on button for 5 sec.
I have one of the first lamps, so i think it has something to do with that.

It is possible to put the light on demo mode. Turn the light on. When it is on hold the on button. The light should go into demo mode. I found out accidentally when I sat on my remote :( clumsy me. Then it was just a matter of finding out what button to push to get the demo mode. Enjoy it but it is going to fast for me. Haven't found a button that slows down the demo :(
