  • I do not beileve all of you guys that are bashing this have actually listened to what I am saying on the video.

  • Who said I was from NY? Lynksys1000

  • "The only place you can get this feeling" Dude thousand of us here in Q.C. get that feeling every day...So maybe for you its this way but When I goto Naples florida or New York City I dont get that vibe either so I think it is because you have to create that vibe inside your self about a place...New York is hyped up alot..Also I think someplaces just vibes with some folks better than other folks...

  • I totally agree with this comment, things are what you make them. But this was what I would think a person would see if they came to Charlotte for the first time and the first impression they would have. Unless you have family in Charlotte why would you spend a weeks vacation in Charlotte? People do in other cities but why not Charlotte?

  • I have never heard of anyone spending a week's vacation in Charlotte or any other regular city (i.e, not a tourist/vacation city/area). Charlotte is not a vacation destination. There are many things to do here for people who come for long weekends or casual visits. And this SHOULD be common sense, but it's just a fact that the larger the city, the more activities there are to do. (for ppl who dont understand that) And there are tons more things to do now than there were in the 80s.

  • I vacation in NYC, Chicago, Auckland, LA, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Paris, Cairo and many other cities. I love vacationing in these places and all they are is a city. But I would never thing to vacation for a week in Charlotte, why? Because your right, Charlotte is not a vacation place, why? Because there is nothing there.

If Charlotte would step it up a bit and get outside the box they could become something that would be a vacation spot.

This is not a ridiculous question.

  • Nice try...keep waiting. I have absolutely no desire to drive around town filming a Youtube video for you....get real here. The only point you've proven is that you don't have anything to do but make silly videos so then go make silly videos while the rest of us do other things. Get a LIFE...bye. :)

  • i live in charlotte, it does not have a feel or culture to it at all. downtown is dead, it is weird here. like a big clean empty city. maybe cuz its too spread out. balls on charlotte

  • @chrisrobha i know this video was almost 6 years old but Charlotte is definitley not totally DEAD. You have to give Charlotte credit for its massive growth over the past 4 years. and i think you might've went uptown on the wrong night. charlotte is not an extreme nightlife city. It's uptown is meant to stay nice, tidy and clean and thats the way MOST of the city is. Charlotte is a mid sized city where you can start a family. Charlotte definitley has some sort of nightlife. Just not NYC nightlife

  • OPAQUE tights @ TheGreytights

  • @chrisrobha--Oh, and Denver, CO was already more interesting than this city just the same.

  • This video was posted 5 years ago (as I write this), yet it seems like it was posted only yesterday. Thanks for exposing the truth about Charlotte. To even think I wanted to live here.

  • Charlotte is probably the only city in the state that comes somewhat close to all those cities you've mentioned, but still lacks the culture you'd probably find in most of those cities. Furthermore, other cities which suck as much as this one are Santiago, Chile (as well as the entire country it's in) and Dublin, Ireland to name two. It could be worse... Try Easley, SC. Choosing to spend two days there was the BIGGEST mistake I've ever made. That entire SC area is no place to visit.

  • @jettrocket350X--I agree with you completely. Charlotte is no place to spend a week in (much less a day). I probably would spend one week in Atlanta before I had to see any other NC city. What is worse is that TONS of people LOVE moving to this one state as if it's the only state in the country. I live in the Raleigh/Durham area and this place is even worse.

  • If you look, you can see that there was street activity. You dickheads were just too lazy to go to where the action was, morons....

  • oh wait we have people who aren't douchebags...all i heard was you sucking new york's dick
