  • @diegofnu

His work on information theory earned him a Nobel prize and those microeconomic frameworks were specifically intended to provide a foundation for macroeconomic principles... he's one of the most pertinent speaker in that matter.

Basically, information asymmetry (what he worked on) is one of the market failures he studied and it's one of the top reasons why regulations and governmental interventions are desirable to increase market efficiency.

  • Workers in the west have to compete with workers paid 2 dollars a day? thats not fair trade. that sucking sound perot warned about? it happened.

  • @SuntzuMocro lol, you didnt read what i clearly wrote. Yes, i am an ignorant on the issue. Stick to the facts. Give me some valuble information, plaese. If you want to defend Stiglitz, use logic. Works much better.

  • @evaniax No it was when they told you about it.

  • @diegofnu you are obviously ignorant, especially if you think that prof. Joseph Stiglitz is not an expert on issues as world trade, globailization and macro economics.

  • Ah you gotta appreciate a good bit o sophism!

    How wonderfully bollox!

  • funny... he say's " i hope...", I am no expert on the issue, but "for what one can hear in the video", he is not either.

  • It appeared you had trouble keeping a straight face. China has children working 6 and 7 days a week! They are polluting everything. Pure dribble.

  • What sense of social justice did the West have when it prevented the UN from stopping genocide in Rwanda (just as it is preventing the UN from involvement in Sudan today)?

  • When did China ever have a sense of social justice? Was it when it was giving arms to Sudan for oil?
