Statement by H.E. Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, President of the Republic of Indonesia
United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has convened a Summit on Climate Change on 22 September 2009 to focus Heads of State and Government on the need for urgent action on a global climate deal in Copenhagen this December. The Summit featured several innovative elements. Among them, all Heads of State and Government had the opportunity to send a video statement, like the one you're viewing now.

I always admired Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. He works for the people of Indonesia not for him self.I see free speach to people toward goverment if the govement done wrong, living healthy. Specially International International aiport more organized. I showed on people magazine SBY is no 11 as famous person, and as President Obama no 13.A lot of new politik group growing in Indonesia. I don't know if this is good or not for Indonesia. I heard FPI this group scare me no brain.

ah, Mr. President, he aged fast. I hope he'll stay healthy. Indonesia is a big nation with so many potential natural resources. Any minerals, any kind of fish, you name it, we have it in Indonesia. Too bad we're still struggling with poverty and natural disaster. My pray for Indonesia

Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is the fourth ASEAN leader who have the high fluency in English after Lee Hsien Long (Prime Minister of Singapore), Najib Tun Razak (Prime Minister of Malaysia) and Abhisit Vejjajiva (Prime Minister of Thailand).

i think he is one of the best world leaders. he always accentuates clear political views of peace and reconciliation...very democratic in a way. of course...this peaceful kind of person can hardly be understood by those fascist, terrorist and anti-democratic mind-sets. go ahead sir...God bless you!

It was not him who lied but YOU..!! Where did u get those numbers..?? Indonesia govt has given concessions of a total area of 187 million hectares while the land area of Indonesia is only 200 million hectares..???? Also FYI, a current area of Indonesia's forest is only 102 million hectares..!!!!

In the national programs sumit, Indonesia plans to open palm oil land two times larger than the current 10 million hectares. He has issued a contract mining of mineral concessions covering 40 million hectares, oil and gas for 95 million hectares, logging contracts covering 32 million hectares. Natural resources and forests Indonesia has been sold to the U.S., Japan, EU to foreign debt. Indonesian president's job. and he lied in his speech.

So, we can see ur truly comment is not about the climate change..
Ur just still arguing about the Papua choose together to pursuit it happiness together with Indonesia through referendum and New York Agreement..
I think u just post the wrong comment in to totally different issues that we are talking right now..
So, the best move we can do right now is unite and protect our environtment together.. Throw away the virus of hate and just do the best for our mother earth..

how can you talk about climatechange,
when your government commits systematticaly genocide in West Papua.
The rainforrest belongs to West Papuans who have kept the forrest intact for thousands of years.
since your government illegally took over
the rainforrest(New York agreement)has been destroyed since!!
Just to gain profit from the resources.
I say you're full of bullshit!!!!
by the way, we all heard you're coming to The Netherlands next year to talk about human rights?!!?
