  • @pitufetecooper It's actualy very bad idea this way. Its placed in low pressure area of bonnet so it will just not choke too much air where inside of bonnet - in this place we have air stream from front grill/radiator and this will cause just messy airflow. BUT if you will turn it backwards, it will work in cooperation with front grill and you will get real good stream thru radiator and as well: improved downforce and lift reduction. Go for it, but clever way ;)

  • That carbon fiber sure IS "lucious!" I ordered mine in April of 09 and LOVE IT.

  • welllll...in minis the intakes are sealed inside the compartment, and there is a duct that runs directly to the filter. while you can argue its not a cold air, its not a short ram either...

    btw i have the vortex for my r53...best scoop yet!

  • haha arnt cold air intakes usually near the bottom of the bumper to get the cold air, you must mean Short Ram intakes can preform better.
