All you are seeing here is the launch vessel going up. The C4 line charge was not hooked up and that's why you didn't see a tremedous detonation at the end. Otherwise, those GI's would have been a hell of a lot further away, trust me!

Works great on occupied buildings just shoot it down the road and let her rip! Hooah!!

its a seperate control to detonate. the line behind it is the c4. You make sure the line is straight and not kinked.

about 5 pounds of c4 every 1 foot so i'm guessing that the line charge wasn't attached correctly.

very nice ;D arent you a little to close ?
please go and see my 2 new videos, comments and/or rattings are greatly welcome!

The chain is a very long string of C4... I think it's 1700 lbs of C4... They shoot that giant rope of C4 into a mine field. It lands, then they detonate it... It's like a 300 ft long, 30 feet wide path created by it... The explosion created by the rope is awesome

Holy shit, you guys are close to the launch! When we fired this during my Norwegian military service as a mech. assault engineer, we had to keep a distance of approx. 1 km... I'm pretty sure it's the same MICLIC system. 100 meters long and about 800 kg's of C4?
interesting, although i do not understand the purpose of the chain and how intact the rocket is supposed to clear mines?

The MICLIC is a rocket projected explosive line charge which provides a "close-in" breaching capability for maneuver forces. It is effective against conventionally fused mines and, when detonated, it provides a lane 8 meters by 100 meters. The line charge is 350 feet long and contains 5 pounds per linear foot of composition C-4 explosive.
