This is a place were even most men wear the traditional Maya clothes. This market mainly caters for the surrounding local villages and not the Gringos - Unlike Chichicastenango.

I was at this market in 1978...no video cameras in those days. Just an old fashioned 35mm camera. Some of the locals were reluctant to have their pictures taken as they thought their soul would be lost if their picture was taken.
