I was responding to the comment made that there was no combat ready unit on that base. I'm not in the military and was surprised I would assume everyone was fully trained in combat not that what happened would have required combat.

ther was no combat ready infantry unit on this base, its like they blew up a gas station really, tht the big flames... jet fuel, not bombs. people other than grunts wer on guard an let 1 guy get off a lucky rpg from the mountainside, my unit was on this base a few months b4 this happened
