@ruairaidh well although i liked jane eyre 2006. i must say my favorite is north and south. then comes the last adaptation of emma. i really loved it. :)
you can't compare the last jane eyre to other ones. because they're fabulous i have 5 different versions of jane eyre on my room. hehehe :)

@xocolatier I just saw that she wrote the 2007 version of "Jane Eyre" which is, in my opinion, the absolute worst adaptation of that book. I liked her adaptation of "North & South" but I can't criticize her version of "Jane Eyre" enough - it's positively horrid!

He really is an incredible screenwriter, though he did let me down when he wrote the script for the second Bridget Jones film...come on Andrew, really?
Anyone ever heard of Sandy Welch? She'll be the next Andrew Davies, mark my words!
