@omgawesome Yep it was 85 when they ran the last race. I went to see the wild bunch there that year. The wild bunch was an exibition team of racers who were the predecesors to pro-mod. they had about a half dozen cars and from what I remember they all had blown alcohol motors and were wheels up mid seven second cars.

It sucks so bad that there is no dragstrip in CT. My older brother raced there a couple of times but I just missed it. Its up to Lebanon, or New England. Better than nothing but who knows how long they will remain open.

it closed in 1985--Consumer Report OWNS it--has since 87 or 88. Its 4 miles from me. ;-(

They closed CT drag way in 1982 They do use it for testing Consumer reports uses it
