Your daily politics video blog: This week The UpTake's own ground hound Chuck Olsen road-tripped to Des Moines, Iowa for the last big Democratic candidate event before the caucuses, the Jefferson-Jackson Dinner. While drunk hockey fans trampled Hillary signs outside, the leading candidates tried to win over the 9,000 cheering Democrats inside, taking jabs at Republicans and each other in an attempt to win hearts and minds at the upcoming Jan. 3 caucus.

  • i love the nancy pelosi high pitched voice but im not to big on the appearance of chuck the citizen journalist, you dont need to add comidic relief inbetween the news story just watching americas political process is funny enough

  • Nancy Pelosi sounds like a chipmunk.

  • No Gravel? No Kucinich? What bullshit is this?

  • pelosi is a traitor! Why would anybody consider what happens in Iowa important?

Its like the WWF meets the Democratic party!

    Ron Paul 2008!

  • excellent video

  • you may be optimists, but you should also be realists, Paul is still at the bottom of the list for the Repug candidates, it's highly unlikely he will get the nomination. With that said, it seems that as of late, the Repugs in our country are scrambling to support a candidate, they're having some trouble deciding, so Paul may have a chance, albeit a very remote chance...
