That was my reaction. I posted the video response (above), = just a sound enhanced version of the same ad.

From looking at information about Benson on the web, her positions seemed good - which is to say I agree with what I've seen.

But campaigning on the theme of being an experienced pooper picker upper makes about as much sense as Palin's turkey pardon in full view of the slaughterhouse.

It could be the shit that Sarah Palin has probably done in Alaska that Diane Benson was cleaning up.

Too bad cleaning up dog crap is so aesthetically offensive - it would actually be a great metaphor for Obama to use in one of his ads: cleaning up the absolute mess that the Bush administration has left us with.
