Encircled by a vast steel fence and declared 'off limits' - the city centre became the forum for a brutal and bloody weekend. Despite unprecedented levels of security over 300,000 protesters joined forces to highlight their frustration at increasingly-dictatorial, profit-hungry systems of government spearheaded by the G8.

ma come se fa.... che onta essere italiani....la polizia invece di tutelare la gente, la massacra. Che macchia infamante, bella figura col resto del mondo. Quando vedo ste cose verrebbe voglia di disertare le tasse, dal momento che questi vengono pagati con i soldi dello stato, cioe' i nostri. Ma il problema e' l'italia, per ripulire il DNA dalla mentalita' fascio-squadrista, ci vorranno ancora diverse generazioni.
