Toy Planet recycle shop in Japan

Yup niche marketing at its best the Japanese way. Mostly toys only and Japanese toys at that! Join me as I simply walk through the isles and take in the wicked toy culture of Japan. A little something for everyone here toddlers to adults. Old game consoles and mini hand held stuff I have never seen before. Cartridges and used console games. Every Yugio card in the world... well lets say a lot of them. ....... and all the droids and mechs from many movies and anime shows. There is a small but cool corner for western stuff like star wars and such. All of it is mostly used and in great shape. Specialty stuff is pretty pricey but there are plenty of sweet deals.

I wanted to get more detail on the game consoles but I was under cover...... trust me... there were bins with old game boys and some were in unique cases with different themes and mini consoles that plugged into the big consoles. You get the idea looking at software isle.... and bins full of cartridges.

The baby stuff is great for new families. Car seats and strollers , cribs and basic playthings can set you back quite a bit. Check this place out if you can.

LOCATION: Close to Higashi Urawa Station and the Treasure Factory its about a 15 to 20 min walk and you can stop at the Treasure Factory on the way.

When I went to that store last fall, it took me almost forever to find that place! About 1 hour from the station !

@Rock010288 Dude did you get lost? It should only take you say 25 min tops to walk. Treasure Factory is about half the way to Toy Planet on the way. Sorry to hear that.

@toddatron Yea, I did. I took a north from the station and ended up going one big round. The walk back to the station took around 25 though.
