  • You know, I always loved Leo Laporte and Kate Botello on the Screen Savers, but then PATRICK NORTON came along..ugghh...what ever happened to Kate??

  • @medusabosta It`s not wolá, it`s voilà!

  • its no wolá it voilá i tink

  • WHS is bloated and slow (and expensive). The only viable CUSTOM home server OS is Ubuntu Server Edition (32 or 64-bit)... Which is free.

All file storage can be done with samba, torrents can be done using torrentflux, you can host game servers, web sites, your own mail server, stream music to your 360 or PS3 with mediatomb or MiniDLNA. Plus it run's on just about anything so it can be as low-power as you need it.

Can run on as little as a 1.3Ghz Atom (Single Core) and 256MB RAM

  • @HiddenOrForbidden If the machine was powered off properly the reader heads should not be over the disk itself....though i do still agree with you, that is a really REALLY dumb move!

  • WAIT!! You MUST see what happens at 0:38. It is about the only thing you NEED to see on this video. 0:38 explains it all. SLAM those HDs!! DOH!! His friend glances down at the server at 0:40 like "did he really just do that?"

  • More spam....it's an HP advertisement hiding behind a misleading title. UGH!!!
