Bavarican Primitive Music by a singular band from Munich, Bavaria. Singer Carl-Ludwig Reichert was the first Bavarian avant-garde poet in 1969, influenced by the American beat poets and the art of Austrian writers H.C. Artmann and Ernst Jandl. Later on he recorded four albums (the first in in 1976) with internationally renowned rock group Sparifankal, all in Bavarian language. With Wuide Wachl he turned to early 20th century roots music, both American and Bavarian (hence the self-coined term BAVARICAN PRIMITIVE). San2 on mouth harp.
