Angoor is based on Shakespeare's 'A comedy of errors', a story of identical twins (2 pairs) and mistaken identities. I have seen comedy in error in theater here in usa...not movie but live show,,,it was hilarious....if any one get a chance..and you have such show going on...please watch...

@hiDhaval: there should be a law against remakes of old movies by the same name. He bloody ruined Golmaal, now every time you type Golmaal that pathetic Rohit shetty movie comes up. Now get ready to see a ruined Angoor. Where is he going to get an actor like Sanjeev kumar, i mean really!!! Today's directors can't make anything original so they make pathetic unwatchable remakes of old classics, fine, but name it something else.
