If you idiots below me and that twat who posted this video would actually do some proper research, you'll see the facts in the original movie are all TRUE. Find the source list, it gives the names of all the ancient books it used. I got my hands on some of those, it all matches up. You idiots have been tricked by some christian trying desperately to protect his ignorance.

The first 'christian' Roman Emperor was Constantine, and he is acknowledged so because he made 'christianity' the empire's religion. The roman troops in those days adored 'Mithra', so what the emperor did was to tell the people that from then on the new deity was Jesus, but conveniently, he kept all the characteristics of Mithra, including the celebration of his birthday on Dec. 25th. Jesus was born probably in May or June. So, this fact holds relevance to Jesus and Christianity.

Second, your definition of embalming is the 'modern' one, but embalming has been given a greater religios meaning by several cultures. Perhaps it would be good to check that argument. Third, regarding Attis, you use the word 'demon'. In ancient greek, this word did not have the meaning of today. Fourth, you also show and say that Attis "was born, not by sexual intercourse"...so, if there was no sexual intercourse...wouldn't that mean that the mother of Attis was a 'virgin'?

Mr. CD89BOSS: I want to be respectful of your belief and passionate defense of Jesus as 'being attacked' in the Zeitgeist movie, but I cannot but comment that you make many mistakes in trying to give arguments against the movie, or the information in it, not taking into account some really bad spelling mistakes which do not help when trying to gain respect for your arguments. Also, there is evidence that you didn't understand some aspects of the movie. I will try to explain with my own.

You have made mistakes in your interpretation of the movie as well:

Dionysus - was not born of a Semale but of Persephonē - the queen of the underground world...the Pantenon of gods either greek, christian, persian...or any other are just stories let's be clear, dates are just assumptions towards their symbolism, so treat them how you like, the gods so called, can be also Aliens, as people thousands years ago dident know wha'ts a space ship, they called it chariot on fire...etc. good luck.
