Vs (America's Best Dance Crew winners and our inspiration) Jabbawockeez Tribute Crew (Jabbawock33z).

Well, we set the event date on January 2nd, 2010, and that date has already passed. And what was the results of that event? Lemme say it went quite successfully, considering it was extremely experimental, and this was our first experience in throwing such a public event with crazy promotion. The turn out of people that attended broke 200! We received a lot of love from the attendees and we really appreciate that!

So here is the video performance of Jabbawock33Z's second performance of the event (there is an intro performance and a freestyle routine that I am currently uploading and will link later here). All choreography was original to Mauricio Lopez (Leader of D.A.) with inspiration from the legendary JabbawockeeZ, of course!

The event had two shows between 3-6pm and 6-8pm so we spliced in both of the footage here just for clarification.

We are having big plans for the future please wait for it! Loyal K*N*G X D.A. X DANCING x God's blessing will take us to the sky. Please stick with us on our ongoing adventure to change our town in new ways! Longview, TX gonna know what's up soon enough.

We tried something different and unique. We did it for fun, nothing else, not for some wack fame on youtube, not for some haters, not for somebody crouching infront of his pc. We did this for "fun" and to the Jabbawockeez, because lets face it, if it wasn't for them a generation of kids would not grow to love the "dance." This is what a tribute is all about.

Just clarifying this to the viewers... This is a "tribute" to the Jabbawockeez, we are not claiming to be them. & We did this to have fun... Like any kid busting a MJ move or a Jabba routine... Its for fun.

Loll but if you don't want to embarrass yourselves, then you should make it look a little bit better at least. Pop harder and move faster. When you guys are supposed to pop hard you don't and it looks like shit. If you do that it would look soo much better. Also when it's a solo dance part you might want to make the other people do something too so there not just standing there.

Dude thanks for the good criticism. We actually wanted to do those things but we had a strict deadline to wrap everything up. The dance crew had 3 weeks to practice, and with most having jobs and schooling it was difficult to get adequate work in. But all the points you hit on are completely correct. We did this event as a way to bring the community together, with all the expense on us. We weren't coming out as the best. We just had to do it. Next time we do another routine, it'll be better

i find this video depressing because there is only one real jabawockee out of the whole group and that is the tallest one and he is trying his hardest not ot shopw the ohter ones up or out do them so therefore U SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!!

agreed with DJWestIndiez comment tho. You guys need to hit harder on beats where the move is unified or even if individual freestyle, you should hit hard. Even with 3 weeks, its not bad but could use a lot more energy.  Seems like you guys need to work on sync, something jabbawockeez do well on top of their gear.

If u need, go buy a webster's dictionary, look up what a tribute means, and then face palm yourself with said dictionary.
