What i mean is give him neck over the jumps, u hold him back at the withers and yes i know hackmore is harsh but u need him to extend over the jump , sry ur right u dont have to shorten your reins just give with your hands over the jump

@990sydney ... exactly my point, he has neck room, and he does'nt take it, that's what he wants to do. I give more hand with horses who need/ use it :)

i notice on the jumps u kinda bring your hands back and lean your shoulders forward, u really should shorten your rein and give him neck then gently pull back ;) gr8t riding

@990sydney shortening my reins would give him less neck, and if you did'nt notice, he's wearing a hackmore, so I need to give him extra rein just in case. Hackmores can hurt horses with to much pressure.
