  • when you were beginning to learn guitar who were your main influences?

  • @FieryGuitarD00D umm in the early days jerry cantrell, chris hannah, eric johnson, then on to yngwie, becker, friedman, michael romeo, paul gilbert, vinnie moore, richie kotzen (stil one of my fav), nowadays im really into greg howe, jimmy herring, emil werstler (great friend of mine as well), brad paisley, brent mason, danny gatton, derek taylor, per nielsson

  • thats sweet dude. What key is that in?

  • @dropless2002 c minor pentatonic, it has some extra notes thrown in from the dorian mode as well i believe

  • o.o can someone please tell me what model ibanez and what pickups those are ?

  • That was AMAZING, and I've been playing guitar for 6 years, holy shit

  • i really dig Kotzen's influence on your playings and solos,

  • I love that he pointed out Yngwie as a main influence, The blood in the ink solo has some Major Yngwie feel.

  • Boobs in tags :o

  • i'm sure you get this a lot... but what Ibanezes do you rock?

  • This is the most beautiful Ibanez I've ever seen

Ryan, Thanks for the lesson :D

  • @PikachusCorpse Yeah. I wasn't sure whether I should answer or not but since Ryan doesn't seem like the kind of guy who checks youtube very often I decided to lol. I'm no pickup expert but I'm like 99% sure that there's more to making a humbucker than just putting two singlecoils together. You can just get different pickup covers that are multi-colored for the regular ones. And sorry, but like I said, using a dampener is only ok in the studio, it doesn't work in live situations.

  • @tart9 i noticed they're the same as Jason Beckers pick-ups. i asked those questions 'cause well Ryan Knight is my second favorite guitarist & it would of been badass he answered :P & the single coil question was because i want multi color pick-ups but colors that differ from those. i want to make two single coils into a humbucker if that makes sense.. i use a rubber band as a dampner for my eight finger tapping stuff v.v
