I love your video. How can I learn more about the physics behind wha you are doing and how you are doing it?

How hard is it to do something like that? I saw a Instructibles guide where you can use your voice to change the shape of a laser. I'm sure attaching speakers to it would make a fairly simple laser cymatic demonstration.

its not that hard is you have the right kit: red laser with a broad-ish beam, signal generator and mercury (be very very careful with mercury its very toxic, do some research on it first). re using your voice, if you can hit a pure tone then that would work otherwise you just get random patterns that are not that interesting. hope that helps

thanks... you'r best place to start is Hans Jennys book 'Cymatics' I'm using the same physics but with mercury and a laser.
