Part 1 of 2.
Rachel factually destroys a man whose teachings have essentially been debunked by essentially all national (and even state) psychological associations and associated peer-reviewed assessments.

The thing I can't understand about Rachel is why she was tougher on this guy, than the Ugandan politician that advocated the death penalty for gays?

In what way was she tougher? This guy had a book full of egregious errors and suppositions presented as fact... and he ducked it as soon as he was called on it. It's easy to seem like you're bullying, when against someone who gives up and runs away from what they supposedly stand for.

David Bahati on the other hand, is basically a genocidal gay-slayer-- and quite proud of it. What can an interviewer really say against that?

Just because he had children that are Caucasian means "I don't want to be black"? The children aren't even his. And by the way, Michael Jackson wanted genetically perfect children...Not just for them to be Caucasian.

Has it occurred to you that if our society were accepting of homosexuality that these people with "unwanted homosexual feelings" would be more accepting of themselves? Heterosexuality is considered the default, which would explain why no one ever complains of "unwanted heterosexual feelings."

"Michael Jackson said "I want genetically perfect children" not "I want perfect Caucasian children""

Actually, he didn't say either of the above (way to pay attention there!)... which is why I'm marveling at the stupidity of your comment.

"Genetically perfect children" in his case were blond hair with red ruby lips."

Sucks for the younger one, who is neither of the above, don't ya think?

Michael Jackson said "I want genetically perfect children" not "I want perfect Caucasian children". Get it? What he meant by wanting "Genetically perfect children" means he wants genetically perfect children...

"He stared for hours at videos of children playing. Some he called 'ideal-looking', and he would say how he loved 'ruby red lips' and 'blonde hair'."

Did you see the word Caucasian anywhere? No.

"Genetically perfect children" in his case were blond hair with red ruby lips.

"Michael Jackson wanted genetically perfect children"

The stupidity of your entire post notwithstanding... um, let's step aside for a second and take a look at the above quote.

"Genetically perfect children"-- WTF does that even mean? We hadn't even mapped the human genome at the time that those kids were born, so how the heck would he (or anyone) know them to be "genetically perfect?"

Do explain. This oughta be rich!

It's gays that choose to be straight. Because of fear.

"doesn't entirely mean he didn't want to be black."

Until you pair it with the fact that he said "because I want the perfect children" when asked why all of his kids were clearly Caucasian.

Now hmmm, what were you saying about common sense....?

The APA declared that being gay is not a choice and trying to change it is dangerous to the psychological health of the patient. Most people that are sent to gay conversion therapy are children and are forced into it by their parents. They do not want to try and change who they love. Any adult that tries to change their orientation is being forced by their religious beliefs, since they know that they did not chose to be gay.
