Great artist and wonderful song. Takes me back years when I hear his voice reminding me of a magical night I took my Mum and Dad, (both now resting in peace) to a concert in Goffs in Co. Kildare. Thanks for the memories Charlie

its thought provoking this song. in the very house you are living in ,people may have lived some of their happiest years,now maybe long gone as is their memories, they too felt at home in the room where you now sit. and one day someone will sit where you sit and feel at home,i planted an acorn 2 years ago, the oak tree is only a foot tall.funny to think it may live centuries here ,while people come and go.

im 18, ive been listening to charlie all my life, i grew up on his tapes, i still have one tape thats been played so many times that the quality has completely disintegrated, beautiful voice, was a favourite of my late dadas, thanks charlie, you helped me through life, long may it continiue
