This is a music video featuring mostly ants and beetles from assorted competitions. Basically it includes whatever fights I had on my hard drive. NOTE: I do not own the rights to all of these videos, some of these were downloaded off of a website or given to me.

  • does anyone know whats on top of the robot at 1:20

  • That's mine...it's a compressed air tank for the flipper to operate.

  • whats the name of the song, i know its tool

  • The Pot. It's from their album 10,000 Days. Great song if you ask me.

  • lame "robots" that aren't. The reason why the sport is dying. Join up. No skill required. Stupid music for it too. Let's just say it like it is. middle aged men--very few women--playing with modified or improvised radio controlled cars. Stupid.

  • I also think people starting with an RC car is the one thing keeping this sport alive. Unskilled people (younglings, teens) use $30 cars instead of spending $500 to build bots which IMO is very discouraging. I counted 5 bots total in that video that were RC cars. Get the facts straight buddy.

  • awsome choice of song. good video.

  • im 16 and i do organised robot wars with toy cars. i am one of the older ones! we have people from 5 to 18 driving. its alot cheaper and just as much fun. even if we dont play with the ``real`` rules. search for swedish robot wars,,,ours is the one that is 1 min long :)

  • That's my robot getting chucked 0:49 in lol

    Where'd you get that one?

  • ah, the uniformed commenter...such a pest in the comment-space. As for my qualification to speak, I'm a mechanical engineering/software engineering masters student specializing in robotics and computer AI. I'm just a bit qualified to discuss these so-called-robots. They don't fit the description and, so, shouldn't be called 'robots.' Call them remote controled combat vehicles or what-have-you and let's just all stay a bit more honest. They aren't robots, they aren't even close.

  • No skill required? Are you out of your mind? I'd put money on that 95% of the builders out there including myself have more skill in electrical and technical engineering than you could ever dream about. Most of the competitors out there today are building from scratch; you need to do a little more research before opening your mouth about something you have no idea about because you are not saying it like it is.
