Do you know where all of the sirens are located? I need a list of them please.

Man, this brings back oddly fond memories of living in the south. I always loved how these sounded!

it's the service drive's brother!!

@amtrak3501 there kind of is. there are 7 screw terminals in the lower right. connecting the wire to terminal 1 is chopper level 1, and so on.

The "growl" sound it produces when winding up and winding down is just unbelievable.

@Chingstrom oh yeah it sure is!

They probably swapped out the whole head...That would explain the different chopper level...It's a lot easier to just swap out the head than it is to replace the chopper. Sounds nice and healthy, too!

@LouisvilleTorn8o oh ok. the head looked the same with the little screen left in the top of the horn and the way the screen bracket was crooked at the bottom of the horn. i always thought the RCM (if thats what you call it) had a switch that you could change the voltage of the chopper from 1-7 (i dont know a whole lot about that obviously :D )

WAIT! Why did they replace the chopper? Glad they FINALLY did something to the siren instead of ignoring it. Awesome video.
