This is a story of human compassion after the devastating 9.0 earthquake and tsunami struck the heart of Japan. One of the hardest hit areas was Ishinomaki, where 70% of the school children were swept to their deaths. Follow two Americans, Jill Glikbarg, a renowned yoga instructor from the San Francisco bay area with over 500 students, and Dan Goodwin, aka Spiderdan the Skyscraperman, on their quest to deliver a package of Kanji cards to the survivors on the final day of Golden Week. Little did they know, they would find many of the survivors at the Shotaro Ishinomori Museum, a spacecraft building dedicated to the city's most famous manga creator, who passed away in 1998.

The connection w Stan Lee, the creator of Spider-Man, couldn't have been greater. "The lesson of Spider-Man, if there is one, if you are able to do something that will do good, that will help people, you damn well oughta do it." Stan Lee

The March 11 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami left approximately 26,000 dead and missing in Miyagi and neighboring prefectures.
