  • @EGarrett01 Hey thank you for responding to me and I would like to say that as of now I have never been taxed on any winnings but if it passes here in the U.S. I will be.

  • I <3 you Annie Duke!

  • @bswift5

You're going to be taxed on your winnings regardless. At least with this bill, it will be very easy now to deposit money online and the sites will be flooded with new casual players. If you'll recall, in 2005 and 2006 it was incredibly easy for a person to make money playing online poker because it was so easy for casual players to deposit. This will probably bring it back to those days, or at least much closer to it.

  • A giant step ...Annie Duck I love you

  • WHy is this bill good? Now you will be taxed on your winnings and since absolute ub scandal self regulation has been great by thes companies. Please someone tell me the benefits. I will quit playing if this passes.

  • Legalize it and I will pay a lot more tax. Then the lefties can waste that.

  • my 2c... just trying to help

  • goverment should be protecting overall population everyday life quality not just gamblers' passions, sex addicts' passions, drug addicts' passions, businessmen's interests etc just because everyone should be free to do what they want...

  • not to mention that unless top CIA KGB and MOSSAD pc wizzes go at it you just can't regulate biggest cash games online.. there is no way to be sure that they are fair.. you never get enough hands samples to calculate deviation problems and with that still in order assuming you get hands samples very good players can make tenths of millions worth of mouse clicks without getting caught

  • there are just too many people just too good at figuring out what others are doing that they are basically never given a chance to catch up even before they start playing..i perfectly understand why the state would want to regulate poker. people, esp young kids can compete on something else than their lives savings. poker and gambling in general require gullible participants in order to be a prosperous business and children should by all means not be a target.
