  • @Unohdettu2 yes that was Cless and Archie both are from the same game and make cameo appearances in Tales of Eternia

  • @2010gaje oh... it was that arena thing that was hard and only hardest difficult it was 1 vs 2 and other ways 1 vs 1?

  • @Unohdettu2 the main protagonist in Tales of Phantasia

  • @Clessyboy WHO was cless?

  • @ThisUserNoExist That's because you fight Cless in Eternia...

  • Copýcat, this is the battle music from tales of phantasia D:<

  • im hungie D: .......

  • @Tentenlaw

Yeah - aside from the few handheld exclusives, the consoles tend to offer multiplayer which is a huge draw. Oh, and I agree about the encounter rate, although I've played a few games like Mother, Dragon Warrior, etc with high encounter rates, and at least Phantasia lets you get Holy Bottles to help avoid fights (and Mother too once you get about 1/4 of the way through the game).

  • @wheelalligator : I never got to play Phantasia for the SNES so I am thankful for the GBA port. Still, it is my least favorite Tales game due to frequent random battles. >_> I can not take one step without getting into battle.

Still, you get to hear the ever so famous "What the heck is that?" Haha!

Tales games, personally, I think they are better on consoles than handhelds.
