you need to get the kite a bit higher before you go for a jump!! then you will get hight and not get dragged :)

i have an hq scout 5m and i flew i my first day in 19 gusting to 26 mph winds it picked me up and carried me 15 ft and i wasnt trying to do that and i get why u might not have flown for a few months

that's pathetic, i went up 927 feet up on my HQ beamer 1.8 metre in 80mph gusts, stupid i know!!!

When youre running right and the kite is going left like you were doing near the beginning, when you are about to jump pull the right handle and you will get more lift dude :)
Sweet kite though.
