JD, I viewed your vlog after directed from DeafRead and DVTV mentioned this as well.

U know. Some people LIKE to continue to dissect the word "audism" beyond the simplication.  Some people like to expand the horizon more to garner more knowledge that was hidden in the crannies and nookies of audism. Some people may be satisified with just the simple definition you gave but for some, they wanted to dig more.

I understand your frustration that the topic have carried around for so long.

Frustration? Not at all. I simply share my knowledge with you all. If you or others want to dissect the meaning of that word, suit yourself. I ain't gunna jump into that argument because it's pointless, imo.

There has been more discussions about audism taking place lately. It involves any persons who practice audism by viewing that speaking and hearing are superior than those who use signs. Let it be that audism is published in the dictionary in 2010 and that there will be Deaf blog aggregators recognize audism like racism and sexism in the guidelines!

OK..I am hearing. I am taking an ASL class right now and Audism is a hot topic. I am HONORED to have a deaf instructor and from where I sit, the deaf community ROCKS and I am an idiot! Superior my butt !!!!

@jdavis34 You are so amazing signing so clear and cheer us all up. Very lovely. You need go to an auditorium and explain to hearing people doesn't understand us deaf and require us wear the cochlear implants that I'm against. I'm very much glad that I'm born deaf easy ignore hearing people's complain our way. I tell the hearing person, 'Talk to God for your permission. I rather not. That's my normal life the way I'm born from.' right?
