  • Yes and no, the organ is based on the Nicolaiorgel. It is the oldest organ in the Netherlands (1479). It was build for the Nicolaikerk in Utrecht. And in 1600 and 1700 the organ was restord and with the edition of a rugwerk (backwork). And in 1957 is was given to churg in Middelburg so meanwhile the abbey could be restored. It is now dismanteld for research and stored in a workshop for investegation and study's. The plane is to put it back in the Nicolaikerk in its orginal shape

  • might be, their famous for the neo gothic designes and pipe stop design.

  • It looks to me very much like the Hoofdwerk portion of the older organ in the Koorkerk in Middelburg, NL. I am correct?

  • Oh My God, when I see something so beautiful, I am happy and sad at the same time because I don´t have a organ, not even God to prepare a organ for me playing hymns to God. Pray for me.

  • Nice movie... Nice Organ... This chapel is protestant?
