This movie had me twisted around its finger, i was breathless the whole way. I cried at the end for Ciaran. Easily one of my favourite movies of all time though its so heavy i need a few months in between watching it again. I loved it so much.

Brilliant and profound story, i found it enthralling and valid to my very senses.
Thomas Hardy's probebly one of the best writers of all time for me, and the way it was acted out done it justice as well.
2003 version was the better one.
