Actually the first recorded version of this song was by Irving Kaufman and popularized by Gene Autry, Patience and Prudence, and Lawrence Welk (with The Lennon Sisters), though it really is most popular as "the song from The Jerk."
This is a request and, really, a song I am probably required by law to learn/play on the ukulele.
