nice work. I loved everything but the front fram filter. I had one in the same place and put a rock through it twice. Almost lost the engine and dumped the bike because of the oil on the tires. Beautiful work tho.

Very nice bike! I'm currently working on my XS650 and one thing I'd like to do is fit an external oil filter like the one on this bike. Could you tell me where I can get one and how yours is plumbed in? Is the original filter still needed here? What is the finned part added to the right engine side?
