As much as I hate "Superman Returns", I have to say that this is an AMAZING scene. Very well executed. If the rest of the movie was as thoughtful as this scene, it would have been quite a film.

I have to say that was a wonderful sequence! It makes the scale of the movie huge, and it should have been kept for the final cut of the film. At the very least, it showed something we had never seen before in the filmed versions of the Superman movies. There were many final scenes that could've been trimmed down to make five minutes worth of room to allow this to be a part of the story! Thanks for posting this!

I hate to see an awesome scene like this one fail to make the final cut. Such a great deleted scene. They should've kept it.

They should have left this in the movie. It not only shows the techonology he used to get there and back, but also what he saw and what effects the place would have on him physically. Plus it helps further drill in the fact that he IS an alien. This clip explains so much, and cutting it out only left everyone with quesitons that could have been answered with this.
