Man that baritone voice!!! I remember seeing Steve at Kerrville the year after I won the songwriters showcase (1974) he was excellent to watch. I was on the main bill that year, I remember walking in the backstage area and this lone person walking slowly in the Texas heat towards me. He walked up stuck out his hand and said "great set" I said thanks and we kept on walking our seperate ways. "Dear Darcy here's a letter from a guitar" great poet!
