  • i love how quick they are to catch on, they didn't even eat one piece before they figured out what the water is for. so cute at 0:51 when he first realizes

  • @maryjanerolled I swear these rascals must be wearing watches! Every morning at 8 o'clock they show up for 'breakfast'. If I come out slowly, they just move off a little way while I toss the bread, then come right back to eat. Funny.

  • Impressive, but how about some bean dip, chips, and a beer.

  • I think that's a raven...

  • this is not most interesting aspect of intelligence, look another videos when crow do very difficult things. and stupid sparrows put bred into the water , for example.

  • hey...put out nachos for them XD

  • They are dipping both to soften the food (like tenderizing meat) but also because they store food under their tongues torn to shreds with which to feed their young. Animals of course, need water, too - so this is a great way to provide food AND water to the young.

Of course, your crows may also just enjoy the taste.

  • @maryjanerolled I even bought a bird bath for them, which they absolutley love. They alwasy use it. I clean the water every few days (there are usually bread crumbs in there).

  • @maryjanerolled I do that too. I buy them cay biscuits each week and a couple of tins of wet cat food. It's nice to know someone else buys them food! I thought I was the only one. I am going to give them mashed vegetables scraps from last nights dinner. I do love them so very much and wish they wouldn't fly away when I come out to the yard. I guess feeding them is my way of telling them I love them. I hope they know that I adore them. I watch them from afar too.

  • @AmyK007 i'm sure they love you! i keep all my leftover food that i'm not going to reheat that would otherwise get thrown in the garbage. or if i see discount food for a couple dollars I will buy it for them. I look forward to feeding them everyday :) This is something I would like to do, I can't get them to eat in front of me all the time so I have to watch from afar :'( they are very paranoid LOL but smart!
