Football players use pads because we hit harder than rugby players, and yes rugby players have better cardio, but football is way more explosive, both sports arw really tough, but you have to know that football players use pads because we hit harder, so we need them, in rugby tackles are not as hard, so you dont need pads, thats it. i like both sports, but i prefer football alote more.

I'm an O lineman (full time guard), would you recommend a neck roll or the cowboy plate?

LB no Way that is my position! :) And xp comes with time obviously, and I do okay i suppose just gotta keep at it for another year and a half.. then ile be over in Florida state uni hopefully! and there are many ways you can do it either selection or walk on tryouts my first year in NCAA will be a sort of trial to see me because obviously playing in the UK they cant really see my progress except with stats. Coaches aren't allowed to contact players which sucks but its the rules

I'm the same age, but I only started playing a few months before the end of last season, so I don't have a great deal of experience, my general position is DB and LB. You must be decent if you're going to the NCAA. Did you have to contact coaches yourself and everything?

AF is more about short bursts, Rugby you hit hard, but its alot more prolonged, and players can't keep smashing into each other throughout the game like in AF. I play AF, and used to play Rugby in school so I've got some idea.
