@steevn606 you can run this game smoothly from your specs just tweak your settings a bit like the Distance View... probably around 2000-4500 just... and also be sure you have the latest patch of the game...

@jasonked1 however I did really like DR and i'm not bashing it. I can just see that ArmaII will be with me fore a very long time, I've just upgraded my pc solely for it's purpose. I complete DR, it's a game and its over with. Arma2 is an investment of both time, effort and money...

@bud389 I do agree with you but take into account that on DR you only had a few people with you and on ArmaII you can have a hell of a lot more people and vehicles under your command at any one time... And the system has to be able to do this.

Which makes it clear that ArmA 2 is the more realistic game, in reality youre not constantly fighting enormous amounts of enemys with your M16 without even taking a shot. Also, the atmosphere in ArmA 2 is also bigger than in dragon rising i think, its not so overblurred and shiny and also, the story may be shit (It IS shit) but the game itself is still well, better overall than dragon failing :).

@Dominik520520 Depends, i have ARMA 2 Combined Ops and Dragon Rising, in terms of atmosphere and "fun" factor, i'd give it to Dragon Rising, it constantly keeps you involved, whereas in ARMA 2, theres relatively large gaps of time which you don't really do anything.

Well, to say the truth, I've never played the PC version, but on console the controls sucked, which is no wonder.
But I've heard from quite a few people that they're also shit on the PC.
Still ArmA 2 kills Dragon Rising by far
