@howtothrowlikeapro As above, that's where we differ...I believe that you always have to use the muscles in your wrist actively. I'm such a good thrower because of the amount of snap I get on the disc (and consequently the amount of spin on my discs). I start off by teaching people how to throw a forehand only using the wrist because you can very easily swing your arm without your wrist moving at all...therefore, you need to use your wrist actively.

@brodiesmith21 -sure, and it's cool to share your opinion. but as you are somewhat established it looks a bit silly to start promoting your own video's here

Really? Don't use your wrist? Terrible video.

@thugly921 you are either releasing the disc tilted too far to the left without realising it or you are using your arm too much. Practice just a wrist flick with the disc as flat as possible (keep your eye on it the disc right up until the point of release), and if in doubt, tilt the disc to the right a little bit so that it is pointing towards the ground. If none of that helps then ur stance might be wrong. Stand feet shoulder width apart, and with your toes pointing ahead. I hope this helps.

how do you keep the disc flat? mine keeps flying with the right side higher than the left causing it to curve (I'm right-handed)
how should the hand be gripping the frisbee?

@supaflyz88 there is a video on the DVD that describes it in great detail. But basically I use my index and middle finger inside the rim of the disc, against each other. These push the disc on the release. My other 2 fingers are together along the bottom of the rim. My thumb presses (hard) on the top of the disc, roughly on the grip-lines that all ultimate discs have.

idk where to start. but your motion is very awkward and i feel like most people wont be able to throw it the way you do. second, u said only stepp out slightly. stepping out slightly will not be helpful if theres a defender, you most be able to step out further to create space. third, people need to be able to put spin on the disc using their wrist, because without the disc wobbles like in the video ur flick wobbles. it will get swallowed by wind. without a proper flick you cannot huck the disc

@MMZinstructions About stepping out, I agree that in most game situations you step out more. But you don't need to step out a lot to throw a good forehand, not even in game (e.g. if the defender has bitten into your fake).
