Sculptor Kevin Caron turns the ... camera ... on his "lovely assistant," Mary, as she applies "magic rust sauce" to a number of sculptures. See how Perchering, Thom, HairyTerry and Sasquatch turned out by visiting them on Kevin Caron's site at http://www.kevincaron.com

  • why do you want them to rust? Is it just for the art side of things or does it serve a purpose?

  • @flowgoode It's an art thing. I like the rust look and this way you don't have a mantinance issue in the future.

  • Very cool. When I saw that color the first thing I thought was, that is the perfect color for a rat rod...

    Great work!!!

  • @CBaughman Oh yeah! Do a whole car!!

Let me know when you are done. That would

    be awesome to see.

    Thanks for posting.

  • Is that a commercial product for the patina or a home made mixture? And if home made what's in it? Great videos by the way!

  • @bjensen5 Sorry this is just a home brew.

I hope you understand when I say I have to

keep somethings secret. Can't give away

    everything you know.

  • @xhairsfordemocracy Yeah, now is the

best time to be outdoors in AZ. We

are just hurrying to get all the work

done before the heat gets here. Then

we hide inside for a few months and

    only come out at night.

Thanks for posting, check out my site if

    you get the chance.

  • Looks like your both enjoying your work there.

Nice weather to work in as well. :-)

  • @Timmy6216

Yes, it will. But you get a different looking

patina than this way. This was just the

    look I was after.

Thanks for posting, Stop by my site if you

get the chance. Lots more to see over

    there.

  • wouldn't salt water do the job?
