Jeremy Brett - The Secret of Sherlock Holmes, (Part 3)

Part 3, of the stage performance of a lifetime. Recorded on March 20th, 1989. We shall slowly be posting the entire play in 10 minute increments.


Most of us were not lucky enough to have seen Jeremy in the role of Sherlock Holmes onstage, but at last we will be able to hear him and of course, dear Edward Hardwicke as well.

We owe many thanks to our dear friend,
Linda Pritchard, and to our friend, Lisa Woods. Without them, Jeremy's performance would have been lost to our generation and generations to come.

Headphones might be advisable to enhance your listening pleasure and to enable you to understand more of what is being said. If you happen to have a copy of the play (written by Jeremy Paul) you may enjoy following along.

I was lucky enough to see this on stage in London during its run (major Jeremy Brett fan and Holmes fanatic). I had front-row seats. I truly felt like I was in the same room with Holmes & Watson! Amazing preformances! They should have taped this and put it on video. Amazing to see this here! Thank you for this.

I used to watch the series with my dad at the time this was performed (I was 8) and have been a fan ever since. If only I had been old enough to go to London to see it...
