DON'T FORGET: Milanor should have gotten +2 ATK for Maps 1 and 2. Those are the easiest maps to replay, and you'll thank me later for making you do this.

This is one big Chess match - note the cards I use. I typically only use cards that have just about the right MOV points as I need. This is because the lower the MOV, the higher your gauge starts during the battle. Having the highest gauge possible to start is crucial in these opening maps, as you'll need to go aggressive for as long as possible in order to defeat some of these enemies. Note how I squeezed Yggdra in on my second turn in order to secure that spot next to Durant before the enemy could do so. I also happened to win every battle I fought, which is always nice for EXP and card power.

  • I need to replay Yggdra Union again...for the 4th time, maybe? Maybe 5th?

Of course, that's assuming I have any free time. :(

  • I here ya! I pre-ordered the U.S. version of the PSP remake- should be here in 10 days (can't wait!) Otherwise, my latest game of choice has been Disgaea on PSP.

  • Ooooooh man. I see now. I did it differently. I use a combination of Rev. and then Mirage. By using Rev. second you gave it a 80 plus bonus instead of the 40 I got. I'll make a note of that.

  • Yep! I'm excited for you to be able to make full use of these videos - you're probably the first to actually try following it exactly, so I'm curious to see how much variation there is further down the road. As always, msg me if you have any Qs, particularly when things don't turn out exactly as planned. I've got a gazillion strategies running in my head, and hopefully one or more will help you in any given situation. Good luck!

  • Doesn't having a lower MOV also make for a faster gauge charge for B-type skills?

I was really surprised that the enemy's counter did nothing at 1:16.

Wow, I've never had Durant win 3-0 as a green unit!

  • Yeah, LUK was on my side this playthrough :-) And lower MOV definitely helps with B-type charging, you're right! The hardest B-type card to get charged is Steal, in my opinion - until Milanor has 6 TEC, it's really hard to steal on a 1-on-1 charge against a weak unit, particularly knights. Usually I set Milanor up to receive a charge instead so the enemy still has enough units left to survive until Milanor can power up and use steal. More on that later.

  • 2:14--yes, Durant, that was a poor show by your foe.

  • channy can you make a walkthorugh for psp version if you have time as you can see its different from the GBA version

  • I use Yggdra against fencers and win 11 turns.

  • I tried following these steps for the PSP ver, but the enemies move different than in this video. The very first move you make is totally different from the one I had to make -- that hole you moved to had a unit in my game, a unit above, and a unit to the right. Gah.

What ended up happening was Milanor died while fighting Aegina due to a critical :(
