  • There are politicians in Europe who contend that iron, steel, coal, shipbuilding and associated industries belong to the industrial "stone age"!.And this when the demand for steel products is rising and the whole economy depends upon metal products-ships,aircraft,mining,oil etc.

  • When you finish one tooth slot at time as in this video you dont get so good accuracy for pitch and runout.

  • support the edl

  • good. i want one

  • What kind of bit is that? Couldn't a stone/grinding type of bit also do this? TIA

  • F___ING ROBOTS ARE TAKEING OVER THE WORLD!

    nice job

  • not only by depo -.-

  • Most of spiral bevel ring gear like this one can be finished after heat treatment on 3 axis machines with a a ball-end cutter. 3-axis milling offers higher accuracy and better surface finish. As one can see from the video the root of the tooth has to be finished with a different cutter. It is not as good as finishing entire tooth without changing the cutter. Why only on Depo? ZAKGEAR has been providing CAD models of different gears in the US since 1999. Look at out example with 3-axis HAAS.
