SOMETHING that has bothered me a lot and I am not sure how to word this clearly.
I live in Oregon and the mall I used to go to with my parents (which I stopped for several years) then went back I have noticed the McDonalds was done from the location.
Now after seeing this video the Mcdonalds HERE is gone from the location and I STILL do not know why.
Was it health food violations? If so I am surprised because the Mcdonalds was almost always busy and rarely had no lines.

I haven't been in that mall in probably 10 years, but the last time I was, the Gap sign was still the original one from 1982, with the neon and the old logo. It's kinda sad that they updated it. There was something very unique about seeing that old sign.

Great 70s sound track-- Commodores 'Machine Gun,' Dave Mason "Disagree," etc.

I'm going to have to check out that service corridor the next time I'm at the Kentucky OAKS Mall. I had no idea it could be so THRRRILLING!!!

You heard the man, this is the Kentucky OAKS Mall. It is NOT to be confused with the Kentucky Elms Mall nor the Kentucky Maples Mall.

That is a very nice and large mall for the size of Paducah.

"Over there, that's where McDonald's used to be!"
"K's Merchandise used to be Venture!"
"There's security."
"I AM FILMING IN THE MALL!!!"
"Down there is Sears and Roebuck."
"THIS IS THE KENTUCKY OAKS MALL!"
"This right here is the service corridor, AT THE KENTUCKY OAKS... MALL!!!"
"This is back up on the main concourse of the mall. OMG THERE'S CHICK-FIL-A!!!"
"See that store right there? That's the old McDonald's. I USED TO WORK THERE!!!"

I miss the days of going to the mall every Saturday, hanging out at Pocket Change, beating all competitors at "Mortal Kombat" II and 3, then going to the Chinese restaurant next door to replenish my strength. I always thought it was cool that, for a while, they had TWO Kay-Bee toy stores and TWO book stores. Great times, great memories. I can't believe it's been so long.
